Megan Hensley, aka The Donkey Farrier, strives to serve donkeys in a positive and educated light. She is equal parts farrier, educator, and welfare advocate, with a beautiful intention that aims to improve lives, both human and donkey, through education, inspiration, empowerment and resources. Through her online program, DIY Donkey Hoof Trimming, she has taught more than 700 owners worldwide to trim their own donkeys and has trained multiple apprentices. She co-designed the Cavallo Long Ear Boot, the first donkey-specific hoof boot in the world. Megan helped bring the Donkey Squish Pad to the US market, giving owners hoof rehab tools built for donkeys instead of adapted from horses. She is featured on ABC's Donkey King as the donkey hoof care expert at Oscar's Place.
